Pupils from KS2 had a lovely visit to Woodbridge Library on Thursday. They learnt how to use the library and lots of interesting facts: did you know there are over 1 million books in Suffolk libraries! 

Each child received their library card and borrowed books both for their History topics at school and to take home. We look forward to our trip to Wickham Market Library soon. 

Our Service of Remembrance took place at All Saints Church on Thursday 9th November. The children each made a poppy which decorated the pulpit and pupils from Elm Class read "In Flanders Fields" and "We shall keep the faith"

Congratulations to Willow Class for their entries to the BT Sustainability Comptetion

The Wellbeing Committee unveiled the new Buddy Bench today - a big thank you to ACES for funding it.

In assembly on Friday some of the Wellbeing Ambassadors explained to the children they will be on duty each break time to support anyone who needs a friend or to share a worry.

We were delighted to welcome Roger Burgess from the Woodbridge Rotary Club to school today to present dictionaries to the year 4 pupils.

Our Friday afternoon reading sessions continue. It is so lovely to see so many parents and grandparents in school each week - thank you for joining us!

An enormous "Thank You" to all those who supported the ACES Cake and Pumpkin sale at the end of half term. An amazing £298.27 was raised! And of course a particular thank you to the ACES Team and the Abbott family for all the fabulous cakes and pumpkins.

Thank you to the Collective Worship Team for their lovely assembly to school this morning on the theme of Thankfulness. Thank you to the parents who came along to support.

On 17th October Years 3, 4 and 5 travelled to St Matthew's Church in Ipswich to meet 20 other schools from our trust and record a specially composed song in aid of Save the Children.
