Science week came to an end today with the Great Science Share - created and presented by our scientists in Elm class. The rest of the school have been in to investigate many things including, ‘Which biscuit can you dunk the longest?’ and ‘Which is the stretchiest sock?’ 

This week, we have enjoyed so much science! During science club, the children have investigate how birds are adapted to flying and experimented with adapting paper aeroplanes; they have looked at the changing states from solid to a liquid and observed this in action; and they have discovered sea animals which are adapted to live at the very depths of the oceans before creating their own!

Last Friday (07/03/2025), the Year 2 girls went to a Football festival. They have enjoyed working together and improving their football skills.

The schools was treated to a fantastic, and very hands-on, assembly this afternoon exploring Observation Skills - a great introduction to the up-coming British Science Week!
