    Today we finished term with a service at all saints church. We listened to the nativity story read by Year 6 pupils and sang carols.

    Yesterday KS2 presented an Online Safety Assembly to the rest of the school and parents. This assembly came at the end of our school Online Safety Week. We have all learnt lots and can now feel more confident when we are online.

    As we are sure you know, EYFS and KS1 are busy rehearsing this year's Nativity, The Bethlehem Bake Off. Today both classes had their own bake off creating beautiful biscuit creations which they then judged.

    Yesterday the children who live in Eyke took our Christmas tree to church on Mrs Nicholls' wheelbarrow. They had a lovely time dressing it with all the decorations the children made in school this week. And they even unknotted the Christmas lights! 

  • Internet Legends and Google deliver an Online Safety Assembly

    We had a very exciting visit from Jennie and Daniel from Google yesterday. They presented a great assembly teaching us all how to stay safe on the internet: how to recognise unsafe websites, the difference between misinformation and disinformation, explaining cookies and giving us ideas on how to set safe passwords. They also talked to the children a lot about the importance of being brave and going to a trusted adult if they were worried or uncomfortable about anything online.
