What a wonderful VE Day celebration we have had. The children had a fun filled  day. Ash class learnt a WW2 dance, Cedar Class made carrot sandwiches (yuck!), Willow Class decorated a Victoria sponge cake and Elm Class made some honey and ginger biscuits! All classes were then invited to meet Ethel who told them all about VE Day! We had a lovely whole school picnic and the children highly enjoyed waving their flags.

This term Willow class have been learning about Humanism in RE. This week they have had a visit from a lady who practices Humanism. The children heard all about what she believes and how she lives her life. They had lots of opportunities to have fun and ask questions. It has been excellent to hear from someone who practices Humanism in their everyday life.
