Judaism visit
Mon 21 Oct 2024Today we had a lovely visit from some family members in our class who are experts on the Jewish faith. They told us about some of the Jewish practices and showed the children lots of items that are special in their faith. The children were able to ask lots of questions and play with some of the special items. It was a wonderful way to end our Judaism topic this term! Thank you very much to our excellent guests and to the children for being so welcoming.

Black history month- A musical experience
Tue 15 Oct 2024Today, in music the children had the chance to engage in a beatboxing workshop. This workshop was to celebrate Black history month. We love these cross curriculum links: PE, history and music.

More Young Minds News - and a big thank you to ACES!
Tue 15 Oct 2024In addition to the money raised by the Wellbeing Committee for Young Minds on Friday, ACES have kindly donated all the £72.28 proceeds from their Friday Tuck Shop to the charity. An enormous thank you to ACES for organising the tuck shop and to all the families who supported it. In total we have raised £158.28 for Young Minds on World Mental Health Day!

Young Minds Hello Yellow Day!
Fri 11 Oct 2024A huge thank you to everyone for supporting our Hello Yellow mental Health Awareness Day - we raised £86 for the Young Minds Charity.
ACES will also be contributing some of the proceeds from their tuck shop so we will keep you posted.

Collective Worship Team
Wed 09 Oct 2024Today the Collective Worship Team presented an assembly about Generosity to the school. They told us the story of the Rainbow Fish and we reflected on how when we give time or good deed to people we must do it with a generous heart.
