Spirituality and Reflection
Here are some pictures of our 'reflection area' that collective worship committee have recently been part of opening and running. The area gives anyone in school a place to reflect on or pray for events that are happening in their lives or in the world around them.
Spring has Sprung!
Autumn Term 2
This term our school value is 'compassion' which we reflect on during collective worship. The children try to take what they have learnt and apply the value in their every day lives.
This is our collective worship committee taking an assembly based on Generosity. They used the well known story 'Rainbow Fish' to demonstrate the act of giving generously to others. The whole school spent time listening to worship music and reflecting on how they can practice generosity in their own lives.
At Eyke we have a dedicated collective worship commitee who help look after our special 'Reflection Area'. This area gives the children an opportunity to reflect on spiritual teaching, the world around them or events in their personal lives.
