Online Safety at Eyke

Online Safety is part of our PSHE and our Computing curriculums but we also teach the children about how to use technology safely in assemblies and in Online Safety weeks. This term we have a visit from the Google team to present an Internet Legends assembly. We then followed on with an Online Safety Week for the whole school culminating in an assembly presented by KS2 for KS1 and the parents.

Support for Parents and Carers

Helping our children navigate the online world is important both for schools and parents.

This term our PTA paid for a Parent Workshop run by Parent Zone and Google which we found really informative. Here is a link to some of the resources they shared with us giving lots of useful information about how best to support, educate and protect the children when they are online.
